Illustration / Design / Art / Inspiration!

Advetising requires creativity...

...it is as much about design and style as it is about the media. You will need to think creatively, check out some of the sites below - all of these artsists / designers have been involved in advetising and branding.

Don't limit yourself - as you reach the planning stage of your coursework you will need to be creative - try things out! - storyboard and draw out ideas - film stuff. In order to help this process along it would be a good idea to start collecting ideas and images that you find interesting or inspiring. This is an artistic process but it is one that advetisiers / designers use regularly, inspiration can come from anywhere and anything.

You may wish to keep these ideas in a sketch book, or inside pockets in your folder. Stick them down, make notes, consider what sorts of products they could be connected with, what ideas do they create etc etc...

Go, be free, express yourself!

Mr. M.
